Vathy, Samos Greece
Vathy or Samos is the capital of Samos island, where one of the two ports is located. Vathy is one of the most attractive insular towns, amphitheatrically built at Vathy bay, boasting wonderful traditional style mansions and neoclassical buildings. Take a walk around the town and admire the city hall, the art gallery the historic church of Saint Spyridon and many more landmarks. Don’t miss to visit the archaeological museum at Ano Vathy. There are plenty of lovely beaches around like Gaggou, Kalami, Livadaki, Psili Ammos, Kerveli, Galazio, Mourtia ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Karlovassi, Samos Greece
The second port of Samos lies at Karlovassi, a town with a special colour and long cultural tradition among other towns in Samos, as it used to be one of the wealthiest and most developed town in Samos. The wonderful churches, imposing neoclassical residences and lovely beaches nearby, such as Potami, Mikro Seitani, Megalo Seitani, Karlovassi and Piaki, compose the perfect setting to spend your vacations at.

Marathokambos, Samos Greece
Marathokambos Samos is a traditional town amphitheatrically built on a lush area full of olive trees. The beautiful stone built houses, the arched streets and the yards full of plants and flowers take you back to long gone eras. At Marathokambos Bay just 3 km from Marathokambos you may take a boat to Fourni islands, Ikaria, Patmos and Kousadasi Turkey.

Pythagorio, Samos Greece
Pythagorio is one of the renowned and cosmopolitan resorts in Samos, owing its name to the great mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras. Kokkari, Samos Greece

By Ferry Boat:
Ferries to Samos Island (Vathy or Karlovassi) depart from the port of Piraeus and the port of Thessaloniki. You can also travel from Samos to other islands of the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, N.E. Aegean, and Turkey either by ferry or high-speed boat.
